About Me

I have lived between Northern California and Northern Nevada my entire life. While living in wine country, I worked in wine tasting rooms while earning B.A. degrees in both Art History and Painting with a minor in Art Management from Sonoma State University.

My adventures with mosaics started when when my mother introduced me to the process in 2015 and I discovered that I enjoy making mosaic frames for my mixed media art. When the 2017 wild fires hit in Santa Rosa, California, I created the Firestorm Mosaic project and worked exclusively on that series for one year. In turn, that experience inspired me to focus on creating contemporary mosaics.
